International Travel ←Click for full
story The Dept of Homeland
Security now requires all US Citizens to
hold US Passports for air travel outside the US (this
law was effective as of Jan. 23,
2007). The passport requirement for Land and
Sea crossing remains January 1, 2008; however,
recent Canada crossing suggests possible
delays if you do NOT have a passport while border
officers check your docs. If you do not have a
passport yet, you should get one now rather
than wait until 2008.
Read our info on
the passport and "Permission to Travel" forms that will
be required for the North
Stars 2006-07 Canada tournaments. Applies to
foreign vacation travel too, so plan
ahead!
