Yes, there will be Labor Day Hockey for the North Stars!

Midget 16u AAA:
The Midget 16u team will be playing in San Jose at the 3rd Annual Labor Day Kickoff tournament. A slot opened up due to the folding of the Phoenix Firebirds 16u AAA team. The current game schedule is shown below. Note the current visitor/home jersey assignments:

8/19/2006 - These four games are scheduled and set in stone. At this time, we are not aware of any other games scheduled. The North Stars M16u AAA are very appreciative to the San Jose Jr. Sharks organization and happy to be included in their tournament. The opportunity to play these four AAA teams is a great way to kick off the season!

8/29/2006 - An exhibition game is now scheduled between the M16 and M18 AAA teams. This game is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 4, 2006 @ 5:15 pm in OAKLAND.

Midget 18u AAA:
The Midget 18u  team will practice twice in OAKLAND in preparation for the Little Caesar's Motor City Cup tournament coming up next week. Practice will be held at these times:
  Sun: 9/3, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
                   and 6 pm - 7:30 pm.

Ice has also been reserved on Monday for an exhibition game vs the Midget 16s.
  Mon: 9/4 @ 5:15pm in OAKLAND.
