North Stars Announce New
Affiliations
Wed, July 5, 2006
The Caliifornia North Stars are
proud to announce two new hockey affiliations - with
Global Sports Showcase, and the Langley Chiefs of the
BCHL.
1. Global Sports
Showcase - Global Sports holds the #1 scouted
showcase for players who would like to continue playing
elite hockey at Junior A, NCAA Division, and Major Junior
Hockey levels. Global Sports
recently completed its 2006 Hockey Showcases in
Burnaby in May, and in Las Vegas in June. For more
information, visit the
Global
Showcase website.
2. Langley Chiefs (formerly Chilliwack
Chiefs) -- The
Chiefs are the Tier II Junior A hockey team formerly
known as the Chilliwack Chiefs, part of the BCHL (British
Columbia Hockey League), and play in the Mainland
Division/Coastal Conference.
The Chiefs hold
the highest percentage (%) of players offered
Division 1 Scholarships. The Langley Chiefs currently have
the largest number of American
registered players in the BCHL. Learn more about
the Chiefs at http://www.langleychiefs.net
The North Stars are proud
to acknowledge the recognition by these organizations in
support of the club's elite youth hockey programs. These
affiliations will provide the North Stars with additional
opportunities for growth, exposure at elite levels
of hockey, and provide opportunities for direct
initiatives with coaches, players and scouts
connected to both Global Sports Showcase and the
BCHL.
